When Life Changes Everything
Before her international recognition, Annastasia experienced a period of profound personal difficulty. She is a Lupus and Thyroid Disease Warrior and Domestic Violence Survivor/Overcomer/Advocate. Heartbreak, loss, and separation from loved ones created emotional challenges that were followed by a very unexpected, fluke, accident that would significantly affect her entire life.
A hoverboard accident left her with a minor brain and head injury, lasting complications, very significant dental damage, and an inability to drive for approximately a year. Although the physical consequences were difficult and are still being mended, the emotional impact proved equally challenging.
For someone whose life involved confidence, creativity, and public visibility, the experience disrupted her sense of identity. Familiar routines became more difficult, and the person she had previously recognized in herself seemed distant.
The experience forced Annastasia to confront questions that extended beyond physical recovery. How does someone rebuild confidence after an unexpected setback? How can a person maintain hope when the future no longer resembles the life they imagined?
Her recovery was not immediate or straightforward and is still ongoing. It involved frustration, uncertainty, setbacks, and the difficult process of accepting that healing takes time.

She is also growing systems for those that feel they don’t fit in any traditional category. Annastasia looks forward to the debut.
